I have spent most of my career in customer service, and since joining the Shingle Springs Veterinary team in October 2023, I feel like I’ve found my true calling. The strong bond and camaraderie among our team members make coming to work a joy, and I’m thrilled to be part of such a talented group. Starting as a receptionist and transitioning to an assistant role, I’ve discovered a new passion in veterinary care. Being around animals has always brought me immense joy, and helping them recover when they're hurt or sick is deeply fulfilling. I’m also certified in MLS Laser Therapy, and I love seeing the positive impact this treatment has on our patients’ recovery.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my two young children, aged 7 and 2. Family time is incredibly important to me, and I value every moment spent with them.

I recently joined Shingle Springs Veterinary Clinic, and from the moment I started, I realized this is the first job I’ve truly enjoyed coming to every day. SSVC has such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, filled with incredibly talented and kindhearted people. Starting a new job can sometimes feel overwhelming, but I was embraced like family from day one, and I’m beyond grateful for that.
My love for animals has been with me since childhood, so being able to turn that passion into a career is an absolute dream come true. I’m excited to continue growing and learning here. Recently, I was also given the opportunity to foster a dog through the clinic, and it has been such a rewarding experience. Knowing I can provide him with a safe and loving temporary home brings me so much joy.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family, especially with the newest addition—my sweet nephew. Becoming an aunt has been one of the greatest joys in my life, right up there with working in a field I truly love.

A friend called me back in 2019 and asked if I wanted to work Dr. Bader as he needed a receptionist asap. It wasn’t what I would have applied for as I had zero Veterinary experience but agreed to help out. Fast forward to the present day - our Clients are some of the nicest people I have ever met, making this job so enjoyable. Getting to be around so many animals every day warms my heart and brings a smile to my face. I have lived in El Dorado County since 1972 - there has been a lot of growth since then and being able to still live and work in this county has been a blessing. I have two son’s Nathan and Devin , 2 horses “Cowboy” and “Firefly”, 2 cats “Safetyman” and “Kimshee” and my German Shepherd “Stella” - when I’m not busy with them I find time to cruise my 1974 Corvette Stingray - oldie but a goody and lots of fun
